Zach Braff
Born and raised in South Orange, N.J., Zach Braff is best known for his role as the oddball Dr. J.D. Dorian on the hospital sitcom Scrubs. He also writes and directs, most notably on the 2004 indie film Garden State, in which he costarred with Natalie Portman. Braff has directed several music videos for the likes of Gavin Degraw and has done voiceover work, most notably as the title character in Chicken Little.
With his affable antics and nice guy charm, Braff continues to make viewers laugh and the Hollywood Foreign Press take note, as they extended a 2007 Best Actor Golden Globe nomination to the actor for his work on Scrubs. In 2004, Braff was linked to pop star/actress Mandy Moore. However, the two split in early 2006. Braff’s most recent relationship with Roswell actress Shiri Appleby ended in March 2008 after dating for nearly a year.
