Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship continues to be filled with highs and lows as they prepare to welcome a baby.
“They broke up in late November,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 10. “They were trying to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting. They can’t get on the same page and it’s not easy for them being together.”
While the source added that “they are done for now,” the pair “could very well be back together” at a later time. (TMZ reported earlier on Tuesday that the twosome called it quits over the Thanksgiving holiday.)
In November, Fox, 38, announced she is expecting a rainbow baby. The actress previously revealed in 2023 that she suffered a miscarriage during her relationship with MGK, who has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie from a previous relationship.
Fox shares Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
Soon after the pregnancy was revealed, a source told Us that Fox and MGK, 34, were “both thrilled and excited to be parents together.”
“The pregnancy is bringing them closer, but they still have very dramatic ups and downs,” the insider explained. “Even when Megan and MGK broke up, they were always into having a child together. It’s something they both wanted even when they were broken up.”
Fox and MGK — whose real name is Colson Baker — were first romantically linked in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. The musician got down on one knee in January 2022, but the two have yet to walk down the aisle.
Throughout their relationship, the pair would raise eyebrows as they chose to live separately for a period of time. Fox would also be spotted without her engagement ring.
More recently, fans have questioned the status of Fox’s relationship with MGK after the duo stopped sharing photos of each other as frequently online.
According to TMZ, the pair chose to end things over Thanksgiving weekend while they were together in Vail, Colorado. Fox’s due date is reportedly in March 2025.
Fans of the couple, however, are aware that there’s been trouble in paradise in recent months.
“Megan is reevaluating everything in her life,” a source previously told Us in April. “It was getting toxic between them and they were fighting a lot.”
