See the complete list of nominees for the 2015 Independent Spirit Awards; plus, find out which films were snubbed.

It’s that time of year again! Nominations for the 2015 Independent Spirit Awards were announced Tuesday, Nov. 25, by Rosario Dawson and Diego Luna.

Leading this year’s pack of nominees is Birdman (starring Emma Stone, Michael Keaton, and Edward Norton), which received a total of six nods. The Alejandro G. Iñárritu directed flick will go head-to-head in the Best Feature category with Selma, Love Is Strange, and Boyhood.

Other notable movies nominated in five categories include Dan Gilroy’s Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Richard Linklater’s Boyhood featuring Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette, and Ava DuVernay‘s Selma. Meanwhile, the biggest snubs of the year included The Imitation Game and Wild.

Big-budget films (and projected Oscar contenders) like Unbroken and Interstellar were ineligible, as the Film Independent imposes a $20 million budget maximum limit for its feature nominees.

As per tradition, the Spirit Awards will be held at a beach-front luncheon in Santa Monica, Calif., on Feb. 21, the day before the 87th Academy Awards. The ceremony serves as a prelude to Oscars Sunday. Last year, 12 Years a Slave, Matthew McConaughey, Cate Blanchett, Jared Leto, and Lupita Nyong’o all won in their respective categories at the Independent Spirit Awards before taking home their Academy Awards the following day.
