The Inside Amy Schumer star married chef Chris Fischer in a surprise ceremony in Malibu, California in February 2018. Fischer, who has cooked in Europe and New York City (where he once worked for Mario Batali) gets much of his culinary inspiration from Martha’s Vineyard, where he’s from. In 1961 his grandfather bought the island’s Beetlebung Farm, and in 2015 Fischer authored The Beetlebung Farm Cookbook, which won the James Beard Award for American Cooking the following year.

Since the How I Met Your Mother alum is quite the dedicated foodie, it should come as no surprise that he married a chef. Harris and husband David Burtka, who hosts Food Network’s Life’s a Party With David Burtka, wed in 2014 and are now parents to twins Gideon and Harper, 8. The family of four frequently shows off an array of scrumptious homemade meals on Instagram, and even though Burtka is the professional, Harris often lends a hand in the kitchen.

The Splitting Up Together actress has been married to celebrity chef Curtis Stone since June 2013. The couple has two sons, Hudson, 7, and Emerson, 4, and Stone keeps busy with his Los Angeles restaurant/butcher shop, Gwen. As the Aussie previously told Us Weekly, the secret to the perfect steak is letting it rest after taking it off the grill. “That’s how you get that beautiful, even pinkness through your steak,” he explained.

One of the perks of being married to a chef is having delicious food at your fingertips at all times, and no one knows that better than Shiri Appleby, whose husband, Jon Shook, is behind some of the trendiest restaurants in L.A. and has a penchant for whipping up tasty snacks. “When I was pregnant with our first kid I gained like 70 pounds,” Appleby explained on Live With Kelly and Ryan in February 2018. “One of my favorite things that he made for me was prime rib nachos.”

Turns out the Call Me By Your Name star isn’t the only creative one in his family. Hammer’s wife, Elizabeth Chambers, opened BIRD Bakery in San Antonio, Texas, in 2012, after being inspired by her mother and grandmother, who both had culinary backgrounds. The eatery is known for its fresh, nostalgic offerings such as Southern red velvet cupcakes and oatmeal cranberry walnut cookies.
