NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An Antioch man was arrested Tuesday after reportedly posting sexually explicit images of a child.
The Special Victims Unit of the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) stated that detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning material posted to a social media account earlier in June.
The account on X, formerly Twitter, was linked to 28-year-old Mathieu Williams. A search warrant was executed on his home and electronic devices were subsequently seized, according to a Wednesday press release.
The MNPD added that during an interview with detectives, Williams admitted that he both produced the images and knew the young girl in the photos.
Williams has been charged with three counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and is currently in jail on a $15,000 bond.
