YFCA is a leading, independent and neutral non-governmental organization that works nationwide at different levels to promote equitable and sustainable development, humanitarian response, and other relevant interventions for a better life and wellbeing of communities and individuals. YFCA is working alongside the government, local and international partners, and urban and rural communities in an endeavor to complement the efforts of other actors and stakeholders who work towards common purposes. Since the mid-seventies of the last century, YFCA has been playing a substantial role in advocating vulnerable groups' concerns to the government, policy makers and program implementers in addition to encouraging active participation of civil societies and stakeholders at the community level. YFCA has also emerged as a major support institution for civil society organizations working for social change with national and local actors at the grassroots level.

English below: نفذت الجمعية تدريبًا عمليًا على الممارسات الزراعية الجيدة وتقنيات زراعة الخضروات الحديثة في مديرية الشعيب بمحافظة الضالع، كجزء من مشروع BRIGHTLY الممول من FCDO في نهاية التدريب قام المشاركون بتطبيق المهارات والمعرفة المكتسبة من التدريب وذلك عبر تركيب شبكة الري بالتنقيط في مركز نجود؛ حيث عملوا على: 🌿 تركيب نظام الري بالتنقيط 🥬 إعداد الشبكة الزراعية والملش 🍅 زراعة شتلات الطماطم ناقش المشاركون الصيانة، أوقات التركيب، فترات الري، والمزيد. كما قاموا بغسل الشبكة واختبار الري. أظهر هذا التدريب التزامهم وحماسهم لتطبيق مهاراتهم الجديدة! 🌿 YFCA held practical training on good agricultural practices and modern vegetable cultivation techniques in Al-Shuaib District, Al-Dhalea Governorate, as part of the BRIGHTLY project funded by FCDO. By the end of the training, participants set up a drip irrigation network at the Najood Center, enthusiastically applying their new skills. The session included: 🌿 Installing the drip irrigation system 🥬 Setting up agricultural mesh and mulch 🍅 Planting tomato seedlings Participants discussed maintenance, installation times, irrigation intervals, and more. They also performed a network flushing and test irrigation. YFCA, funded by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and partnered with International Rescue Committee, held a training workshop for field researchers on qualitative data gathering to enhance vaccination coverage in AlGatan and Tareem. The project, "Enhancing Vaccination Coverage for Under-Immunized Children in Vaccine-Resistant Communities through Demand Creation Interventions," aims to increase vaccination rates among children under five. Researchers have started their five-day fieldwork to cover the target sample comprehensively. English Below نفذت جمعية رعاية الأسرة تدريباً تنشيطياً لمدة 5 أيام حول إدارة سوء التغذية الحاد المجتمعي (CMAM) لـ 46 من العاملين الصحيين في المحويت. تم تنفيذ هذه المبادرة بالشراكة مع برنامج الغذاء العالمي (WFP) وتحت إشراف وزارة الصحة العامة والسكان، بهدف تعزيز المهارات في إدارة سوء التغذية الحاد المجتمعي (CMAM) والإرشاد حول تغذية الرضع والأطفال الصغار (IYCF). يأتي هذا التدريب كجزء من جهودنا المستمرة لتحسين خدمات التغذية ودعم المجتمعات الضعيفة في اليمن. YFCA completed a 5-day refresher training on Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) for 46 health workers in Al Mahwit. This initiative, in partnership with the World Food Program (WFP) and under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, aimed to enhance skills in CMAM and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) counseling.
