Finally, my reflections on this year’s unique Investing in African Mining Indaba #MI25, which was closer to the MI we want! with meaningful inclusion of #youth, #women, #communities, traditional leaders, African governments, downstream actors, innovators, and technology owners. The discussions on the theme “Future proofing Africa, Today” put the youth, technology, innovation, R&D, skills at the forefront. Value addition, beneficiation, industrialization in Africa were at the center of discussions, focusing on the how, persistent challenges, regional collaboration, investment in value chains. I moderated a Ministerial Panel on “Forging a Unified African Mining Front: Collaboration for Sustainable Development”. Panelists included: Hon.
