On #UHCDay, let’s reflect on the progress made and the gaps we need to fill. 🌍 While millions in Africa gain access to healthcare, many still face financial hardship due to out-of-pocket expenses. Stronger financial protection measures and investment in primary healthcare infrastructure are essential to create resilient systems that serve everyone. 💙💪🏾 #WeKnowAfrica

About us
ACG-MARCO is a communications partner in the African context. We want to be part of your African story. Over one thousand languages are spoken in Africa. The cultures of Africa are varied and manifold. Taking the DRC alone, for example, the second biggest country in Africa after the Sudan, the inhabitants of the east of the country have more in common with populations from Rwanda and Burundi than those from the western part of the country. To a global client looking to run a communications campaign in the DRC, this may not seem obvious. Yet, not having a firm grip on cultural and linguistic differences that are a reality across Africa can mean no return on investment and a failure to incentivise stakeholders to action. ACG-MARCO a pan-African communications agency that understands the requirements of the local and pan-African client, and those of global clients, and can service both with the highest regard for international best practices, with a deep understanding of stakeholder sensibilities. We offer complete and culturally attuned communications services to private, public and non-profit sector clients in the African market, with a focus on Francophone and Anglophone Africa.

In 2023, 26 million people in Africa were living with HIV, accounting for nearly two-thirds of global cases. Thanks to advancements in antiretroviral treatments and awareness campaigns, we’ve seen incredible progress: HIV-related deaths in the region have dropped by 65% since 2010. Yet challenges remain. Every week, 3,100 adolescent girls and young women in sub-Saharan Africa are newly infected with HIV. This highlights the urgent need for continued education, access to healthcare, and community-driven resources. This World AIDS Day, let’s unite to: ❤️ Build awareness and eliminate stigma. ❤️ Advocate for equitable healthcare for all. ❤️ Accelerate efforts to achieve zero new infections and zero AIDS-related deaths. Together, we can empower communities and advance life-saving communication for a brighter future. #WorldAIDSDay #WeKnowAfrica #EndStigma #ZeroInfections

African youth are using drone technology to tackle one of our continent's biggest challenges. In Malawi, youth trained at the African Drone and Data Academy (ADDA) are mapping garbage hotspots to combat cholera and improve sanitation in local markets. This initiative, powered by UNICEF, Save the Children International and top academic partners, is more than just about drones—it's about equipping the next generation with tools to lead Africa's tech-driven future. We celebrate and amplify stories of innovation and inclusion. Together, let's shape a brighter, healthier future. #WeKnowAfrica #YouthEmpowerment #InnovativeAfrica
