The first show at #CTFashionWeek2024 was all about celebrating #BlackDandysim. Black Dandyism is a fashion movement where Black individuals use clothing to express individuality, challenge stereotypes, and reclaim dignity. The show was a pre-cursor to the #MetGala2025 theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, which AFI has the privilege of being one of the partners.
