This past Friday, I had the immense pleasure of hosting our year-end Christmas party at my home. Surrounded by our incredible team and many of our partners, I felt a deep sense of gratitude and pride as I looked at the long table beautifully set up on my deck. It was a moment to pause and appreciate the dedicated, caring, driven, and wonderful people who make Amazing Spaces what it is. In my speech, I shared something I’ve been reflecting on from Jim Collins' book "Good to Great". He emphasizes that great companies are built by great people. As I stood there, I felt so confident that we are moving from Good to truly Great, and this team is the reason why. Without them, Amazing Spaces is just a name. It’s the people who live and breathe the vision, who embody the brand, and who make it all happen. To every single member of our team: thank you for your hard work, your passion, and your belief in what we do. Balancing trends with timeless design has become second nature to me. I’ve spent years crafting spaces that blend both, but it wasn’t always part of my “official” journey. From growing up with a mom who had a natural eye for design to my years in the film industry, I've learnt what works, what’s desired, and how powerful spaces can truly transform lives. It’s in your blood and bones—you might have the talent and not even realise it. I've never considered myself an interior designer, but do now that friends ask me all the time for advice on their interiors and comment on the work that they have done.
