A few thoughts on Paddington and where Arumloo began....
Everyone loves to see the underdog (or bear) win against the mighty giant! Just like little Paddington Bear, my interest in sanitation started way back in 1996 in deepest, darkest Peru. This was the first time I used a ‘long drop’, and the community of El Nazareno just outside Arequipa was being connected to the sewer system for the first time by Habitat for Humanity International. 28 years later we have designed the Arumloo (Pty) Ltd 2 litre flush toilet, with a mission to enable ‘beautifully efficient bathrooms for ALL’. With two years of sales and hundreds of happy customers under our belt, we are now the underdog competing against the global giants of sanitaryware. 🚽 But we WILL rise to the challenge, we can offer a more efficient alternative. Save water, 💦 cheer for the underdog! 🐻 #whennaturecalls #flushon2 #watersaving #beautifullyefficientbathrooms Toilet Board Coalition The South African Sanitation Technology Enterprise Programme (SASTEP) World Toilet Organization Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP)
