🌟 A Golden Breakthrough in Cancer Research At RMIT University, scientists have developed a gold-based compound that’s revolutionizing cancer treatment. Lab studies reveal it’s up to 27 times more effective than platinum-based chemotherapy drugs like cisplatin, with far fewer toxic side effects. This innovative approach targets cancer cells with precision, leveraging gold’s unique properties to outsmart drug resistance and halt tumour growth. Animal studies showed an incredible 82% reduction in tumour size compared to 29% with cisplatin.
