Honouring Our Fallen Heroes Today, we gather to pay tribute to the 14 South African National Defence Force members who tragically lost their lives in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their remains are being repatriated to South Africa, with a solemn ceremony taking place at Air Force Base Swartkop. AVBOB Funeral Service is honoured to play a role in ensuring a dignified farewell for these dedicated individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice.
