We are excited to share a significant milestone in our sustainability efforts through a recent collaboration with Daimler Truck Southern Africa. On April 17, 2024, we received two FUSO eCanters from DTSA to start the official customer trials; these 100% electric vehicles showcase Bakers' commitment to reducing our impact on the environment. Bakers General Manager for Dedicated Contracts, Luqmaan Hansa, was present at the handover and he mentioned: “These vehicles allow us to harness the latest eco-friendly technology in our operation and enable us to provide clients with a quieter and greener delivery experience.” Thank you to the DTSA team for making this possible! #eCanter #ZeroNoise #ZeroEmission #Sustainability #GoingGreen

Happy to announce that we have officially commenced with collaborative customer trials with our eCanter range! On 17 April 2024, it was an absolute pleasure to handover 2 FUSO eCanters to our long-standing and valued customer Bakers S. A. Limited to deploy into their diverse operational environments. The vehicles were handed over to Luqmaan Hansa, General Manager for Dedicated Contracts at Bakers, and this is what he had to say about adding these 100% electric vehicles into their fleet - “Receiving the first electric trucks marks a significant step forward in Bakers commitment to sustainability and reducing our impact on the environment. This innovative addition from FUSO enables us to embrace the latest technologies in the industry; and provides an eco-conscious experience for our stakeholders.
