Last weekend, the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA), in collaboration with CAMAF Medical Scheme organized a successful wellness day at the SAICA offices in Cape Town. The event focused on promoting holistic well-being and was a fantastic opportunity for networking and personal development. The day featured insightful sessions led by experts in various fields. A psychologist shared valuable insights on managing burnout and prioritizing our mental health. A dermatologist provided tips on understanding hyperpigmentation and caring for our skin. A nutritionist led a discussion on embracing our body types and the importance of honoring our distinct cultures and cuisines. We concluded the day with an invigorating yoga session that left us refreshed, followed by a delightful lunch.
