About us
The Centre for Transport Studies (CfTS) is located at the University of Cape Town (UCT) Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment (EBE). Our research focuses on: – Paratransit – Land use – transport systems – Travel behaviour – Non-motorised transport – Road safety – Evaluation and assessment methods We strive to have a positive impact on the way people move in cities on the African continent. We look at the politics, policy, demographics, behaviour, infrastructure, operations and other factors.
