We are looking for a results-driven Health and Safety Officer who has a unique ability to combine compliance expertise with a business mindset. This role requires someone who can identify areas for upselling, innovate new income streams, and help expand our occupational health service offerings while ensuring clients remain compliant and safe. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections to ensure workplace compliance. - Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs. - Proactively identify opportunities for upselling services, such as training sessions, wellness programs, or tailored safety solutions, based on client needs. - Collaborate with the sales department to explore new income streams in the occupational health space. - Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging needs to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for all safety-related matters. - Deliver detailed reports and recommendations for safety improvements, while showcasing additional services that add value to clients. - Support the company’s revenue growth by helping expand client portfolios and service offerings. Requirements: - A relevant qualification in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health and safety roles, with a strong focus on compliance and risk management. - Proven ability to identify business opportunities and create new income streams in a health and safety context. - Proficiency in health and safety management systems. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites when required. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualised care plans. • Provide counselling and therapeutic interventions to address social, emotional, and behavioural issues. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with organisational policies and regulations. • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution. • Registered as a Social Worker with the relevant regulatory body. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing social work services, preferably in a corporate setting. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic record-keeping systems.
