At the recent Crown National Sales Conference held in Johannesburg, Andrew Durieux walked away with one of the top prizes of the evening, the MD Excellence Award. Described by Crown Food Group CEO John Morris as "a wise head who leads quietly but effectively" Andrew certain achieved fantastic results this past year, leading the National sales teams to record results. His experience and knowledge of the industry really shone through in his first full year as National Commerical Executive. We want to thank Andrew for all of his great efforts this past year and wish him a well deserved congratulations!

Congratulations to South Gauteng who at the recent Crown National sales conference were awarded the Business Unit of the Year award. An incredible team effort, this business unit proudly led by Regional General Manager Riaan Rossouw, put in an amazing effort in spite of trying trading conditions to generate outstanding results for the business. “It is the business unit that remains humble, unassuming and goal directed. It contributes the highest trading profit of all commercial branches and delivered an impressive return on funds employed (ROFE) of 56.5%.” said Crown Food Group CEO John Morris.

Crown National’s “Stronger Together” Conference took place recently with over 200 guests making their way to Wanderer’s Club in Sandton to enjoy a weekend of team building, strategic planning, celebrating and looking forward to exciting things to come in the next year. With a strong sports theme participants battled against each other in sports such as soccer, padel, lawn bowls, pool and more. As always the regional rivalry was a healthy mix of friendly and competitive. A major highlight was the unveiling of the new Six Gun Grill HOT range which was met with great enthusiasm from the delegates marking the start another exciting brand journey for Crown National. CEO John Morris described the conference as “one of the best in all my years” and thanked all staff members for their exceptional contributions over the past year, “You really have defined the term Stronger Together”.
