The Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) has completed the renovations and construction of new facilities at Bantubonke Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC) in Midvaal. Bantubonke ECDC is designed to accommodate 120 learners, 4 teachers, 4 assistants, centre manager, administration clerk and support staff. Spanning 1,232 square meters, this facility will include four learning areas, an administration block, kitchen, four sick bays, nurse’s station and ablution and changing rooms. The Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) has completed the renovations and construction of new facilities at Athlone Girls High School in Observatory. Athlone Girls High School accommodates 1002 learners between Grades 8-12. This rehabilitation project was completed in strict compliance with the National Heritage Resources Act (NHRA). The original facility was erected between 1935-1940. The project included the demolition and reconstruction of identified buildings, refurbished classrooms, upgrades to administration blocks and courtyards and refurbished staff housing. #2025AcademicYear #GPBackToSchool #GrowingGautengTogether

This state-of-the-art facility delivered by the Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) on behalf of our client, the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE). Braamfischerville Primary School accommodates 1 329 learners in Grades 1-7. The facility features an administration block, 32 smart classrooms, smart science laboratories, smart multi-purpose rooms, smart home economics laboratories, computer lab, ICT control room, library, attenuation pond and stormwater pipes linking school infrastructure, nutrition center, school hall, sports change rooms and soccer field.
