On June 1, 2024, I launched www.findaiforthat.co.za, an AI tools directory designed to showcase a wide range of AI tools for various tasks. Today, we’re celebrating a milestone of 500 signed-up users, with a remarkable growth rate of 78.1% and 27,000 impressions in just three months. Some may wonder why I’m celebrating 500 users—but each one represents someone who has placed their trust in this journey, and that’s something I deeply value. My philosophy is to celebrate every milestone along the way; every win counts. Our user acquisition channels currently include: Direct Search: 37% Organic Search: 29% Organic Social: 32% Our top regions for user engagement are: South Africa United States India, closely followed by the UK Looking ahead, I’m focused on expanding our reach with paid search campaigns to increase visibility in South Africa and other key countries. I’m also working toward doubling our directory with a target of 3,000 AI tools by February 1, 2025, and enhancing free AI education offerings for our users. My long-term vision is to build the largest AI tools directory in Africa, with a goal of 10,000 signed-up users by June 1, 2025. The U.S. remains a priority, given the significant number of AI tool founders based there. This growth reflects our efforts across social platforms and recent improvements, like enhanced tagging for easier search.
