Our FreshStop Food Division recently hosted a dynamic strategy session at the Deli Spices Innovation Centre in Cape Town. Our National Food Manager, Kabir Mulla, led the charge, presenting his strategic plan to elevate our Crispy Chicken and Grill to Go brands to new heights. The session was packed with exciting developments, including improved supply chain solutions, menu upgrades, and innovative packaging designs—all aimed at enhancing the customer experience and keeping them coming back for more.

Day 2 of the NACS Show kicked off with more insightful Education Sessions, followed by a powerful presentation from Doug Lipp, former head of training at Disney University. Doug shared valuable lessons from "The House of the Mouse," including a heartwarming story about Snow White. The session also highlighted some of the most unique C-Stores in the USA, including one with disco lights in its restroom and a store that hosted a wedding ceremony! The opening of the Trade Show generated plenty of excitement as attendees began exploring the vast exhibits. We are currently looking for in the Freshstop Group 📢 : Assistant Store Manager - Western Cape Location: Western Cape This position will be based at our Freshstop Stellendale in Cape Town, Western Cape. Report directly to the Freshstop Operations Manager. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Assistant Store Managers may assist to schedule work hours for employees, assist with the recruitment and selection at store level, may help with ordering, promotional ideas, layout, and financial reports such as the end of day report and the consolidated profit report. Assistant Store Managers will also need to oversee the business operations and ensure that all staff queries are handled and dealt with. The Assistant Store Manager will also need to deal with regular customer complaints. Will often need to work from when the shop opens, to when it has closed and been restocked.
