Founded in 2014, we’re pioneering fresh thinking and investment products in alternative asset investing, with assets under administration of R3.6 billion.
We are of the view that alternative assets should form approximately 15% of any investor’s portfolio. As a leader in alternative asset investing in South Africa, we’re here to help you best understand investments into this asset class.
In 2014, we launched the first Section 12J fund in South Africa. What started as a brave venture became the fastest-growing alternative asset class in the country. We proudly carry the flag as the pioneers of Section 12J.
In 2023 we were at it again, leading the next tax-deductible asset class with the launch of the first Section 12B private equity fund in South Africa – Twelve B Green Energy Fund.
We are driving innovation in these asset classes through our own promoted funds and turnkey administration of third-party funds

In fact, it's deeply rooted in human history. Back in the 1880s, over 160,000 Americans donated less than a dollar to fund the pedestal for the Statue of Liberty. According to the National Park Service, this early example of crowdfunding raised $100,000 (equivalent to $2.3 million today) in just five months.
