Life Healthcare is warning patients of a WhatsApp and email scam targeting the healthcare industry that falsely claims to be from healthcare professionals and may mention worrying test results using the patient's name to appear credible or requesting images related to your medical condition. How to protect yourself: • Do not respond to WhatsApp messages or emails about medical or personal information, even if they include Life Healthcare branding. • Verify the sender's identity by contacting your healthcare provider directly. • Should you be targeted by this scam kindly contact your hospital manager and the SAPS.
