INTERIOR DESIGN We've designed and built interiors from top to bottom - kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, studies, bars and indoor braai rooms. A couple of our larger projects included the design, production and installation of kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms into a large converted office block in the CBD. The other, a conversion of an old hotel along the False Bay Coastline into luxury apartments. COMMERCIAL SPACES We can turn a large open space into a great, multi-level, multi-functional space, including offices, bathrooms, meeting rooms and design, assemble and install all the office furniture and Fittings. We've worked on many warehouses over the years and even turned one large open space into a dance studio, with a new sprung dance floor, offices, reception area and a coffee bar. GARDEN DESIGN Decks, outdoor garden rooms, braai rooms and traditional pizza ovens - we've designed, built and completed them all. We have even built a few log cabins between us over the years at one the private nature reserves in the North West of the country. COMPANY HISTORY The company started with an idea of building cabinetry based on old style fridges and freezers. We researched the history and method of food preservation from day dot to what we all know now. We discovered that the first fridges were called icehouses -– hence Icehouse Design. Icehouse's passion is for interior architecture and design of furniture, for the home, office and garden. We have worked on many projects over the years gaining experience, knowledge, bruises and a few grey hairs. Icehouse is a design and manufacturing company with original ideas and an honest attitude.
