Last week the Innovus Technology Transfer Office (TTO) celebrated Stellenbosch University (SU): the researchers, inventors, innovators and faculty who have been granted patents in 2024, and who have made a significant contribution towards innovation at SU, demonstrating the potential to turn their groundbreaking research into real-world impact. The annual 2024 Innovus Inventors Awards brought together more than 80 SU researchers, industry partners and SU staff.   In partnership with Von Seidels, the TTO awarded 19 patent certificates granted in various faculties, and six special awards, to over 40 researchers. Throwback to last Friday’s inspiring meet-up with Technology Transfer colleagues at LaunchLab and Innovus Technology Transfer Office at Stellenbosch University during the Cape Town Tech Transfer Week! 🚀🤝 It was a great mix of familiar faces and new ones, including my new colleague Khulekani Khumalo, who recently joined the Innovus Technology Transfer Office at Stellenbosch University 🙌. This experience reminded me of how vibrant and fast-growing this field is, with exciting opportunities for everyone involved🌱.
