There’s no shortage of articles and reports on the pros and cons of AI adoption in organisations, and the subject is not typically one we would choose to focus on here at JGL. At first glance, AI has little to do with helping our country’s political and business leaders create a culture of integrity, and bake ethical, sustainable practices into everything they do. But, as internationally recognised forensic services providers, we’ve never been ones to stop at the first glance. This is why, when you do what we do best, which is dig a little (or a lot) deeper, you discover that the rapid and continual evolution of technology, particularly AI, is reshaping industries and organisations worldwide. And anything with the power to fundamentally change how businesses do business also has the power to alter forever how they approach issues such as good governance, compliance, and ethical leadership. We often give up when things feel hopeless, believing we've reached the end of our rope. But that rope is always longer than we realize. Just hold on a little longer, the water will return, bringing hope and renewal. #hope #Hopeful #renewal #SecondChances #growth

Sometimes, it's the small actions that create the biggest waves of change. 🌍 In my latest video, I talk about the simple yet impactful act of picking up litter. It's a reminder that every piece of trash we remove from the environment is a step towards a cleaner, healthier world. We often underestimate the power of these small gestures, but together, they add up to something monumental. Let's all do our part, however small it may seem, and inspire others to join in. Watch the video, and let's make a big difference, one piece of litter at a time. 🌱💪 #SmallActsBigImpact #EnvironmentalAwareness #TakeAction #MakeADifference"

As we all slowly return from our year-end breaks, hopefully feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready for all that 2025 has in store for us, there are many reasons for us to feel hopeful about the year. In his final “family meeting” of last year, President Cyril Ramaphosa set an optimistic tone for the future, expressing hope for 2025 and beyond, and vowing to build on the momentum created in 2024. “Our democracy has evolved and matured,” he said. “We have a Government of National Unity comprising 10 political parties from across the political spectrum. They have agreed on three strategic priorities for this administration. The first is to grow our economy and create jobs.” He also commented on the fact that, despite massive challenges both throughout in 2023 and at the start of last year, there were over 250 days of uninterrupted power supply in 2024. This, he believed, laid a good foundation for renewed growth and investment this year. Please click to read the full article - https://lnkd.in/dadFgV2s

It’s a reminder that sometimes, knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing when to go. Whether it’s a meeting, a project, or even a braai, don’t push it past the point of no return! Enjoy the weekend 😄🔥 #FridayFun #KnowWhenToStop #WeekendVibes #SouthAfricanHumor #LekkerLaughs
