Celebrating a Year of Learning with the MASICORP Teachers! 🌿💚 Yesterday, we had our final training session with the incredible MASICORP - Masiphumelele Corporation (NGO) teachers, marking the end of a year-long journey filled with learning, creativity, and a deep love for environmental education! Over the past year, six dedicated teachers—two from each school (Chasmay Educare, Sunnydale Educare, and Masi Educare)—have completed their WILD HEARTS training, covering 21 lessons that have brought nature into their classrooms in the most magical ways. 🌱✨ These teachers have done an amazing job implementing WILD HEARTS, bringing excitement and curiosity to their little learners every week. We will truly miss our training sessions, but this is not goodbye! We’ll still be popping in for lesson viewings, and we’ll stay connected through our WhatsApp group—continuing to support and celebrate each other. 📸💬 A huge thank you to the incredible MASICORP management team for their support and commitment to making this training a success! And a special shoutout to Vicki Rattray (Assistant ECD Manager), whose dedication ensured that every session ran smoothly—from coordinating the training dates to making sure the teachers had beautifully printed and laminated lesson plans, as well as all the art materials needed for creative activities. Your hard work has made all the difference! 🌟👏 To the MASICORP teachers: Thank you for your passion, patience, and the love you pour into your classrooms. You are shaping the next generation of nature custodians, and I can’t wait to see your continued impact! 💚🌍 #WILDHEARTS #EnvironmentalEducation #ClimateAction #MadeBetterTogether #Tenthousestructures #TeacherTraining #FreeResourcesForTeachers #ECD #Education #Philanthropy #CommunityImpact #Collaboration #ConservationEducation #SustainabilityMatters #NatureConservation #YouthForNature #EcoEducation #SaveOurPlanet #InspiringChange #EnvironmentalAwareness #ProtectWildlife #FutureConservationists #EarlyChildhoodEducation #EquityInEducation #MASICORP

🌍Why Do We Train WILD HEARTS Facilitators?🌍 WILD HEARTS is an environmental awareness program, but many teachers and facilitators have never had the opportunity to learn about nature themselves. Our training equips them not only with teaching strategies but also with the facts and understanding they need to confidently share the wonders of the natural world with children. From early numeracy to literacy, movement breaks to creative art activities, every element of WILD HEARTS is intentional – designed to nurture both a love for learning and a love for nature. By training educators, we ensure the program is taught as intended, while also giving them lifelong skills they can use in other areas of teaching. Informed teachers create inspired young conservationists! 💚✨ #WILDHEARTSEE #MadeBetterTogether #EnvironmentalEducation #TeacherTraining #Tenthousestructures #ECD #Education #Philanthropy #CommunityImpact #Collaboration #SustainabilityMatters #SaveOurPlanet #InspiringChange #EarlyChildhoodEducation #EquityInEducation

🌿 Welcome, @Eco Children to the WILD HEARTS community! We’re excited to support you in bringing environmental education to more young minds. Together, we’re shaping future conservationists! 💚 #MadeBetterTogether #WILDHEARTS #EnvironmentalEducation
We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with the Made Better Together Foundation, using their Wild Hearts Environmental Education Programme! 🌍🌈 We have recently integrated their Grade R Curriculum at Makwetse Primary School. In celebration of World Pangolin Day, we conducted an engaging lesson focused on this unique species, educating the children about pangolins and their importance. 👏🏻 Through hands-on activities and interactive storytelling, the students learned about the pangolin's role in the ecosystem, its unique behaviours, and the threats it faces in the wild. The session was filled with excitement as the children participated in a pangolin-themed art project and creating models to express their newfound appreciation for this incredible creature. This collaboration with Wild Hearts Environmental Education marks the beginning of a series of educational programmes aimed at nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious individuals. By fostering a deep connection with nature, we hope to inspire these young minds to become proactive stewards of the earth, ensuring a sustainable future for all living beings. 🐾

Love Begins with Understanding—Real, Deep, and Lasting. ❤️ Today, as we celebrate love in all its forms, let’s extend it to one of nature’s quiet caretakers—the pangolin—as we look ahead to World Pangolin Day tomorrow! These gentle, secretive creatures play a vital role in nature, keeping ecosystems balanced by feasting on thousands of insects each night. Yet, despite their importance, pangolins are the most trafficked mammals in the world—a heartbreaking reality for a species that simply wants to curl up and be safe. Through WILD HEARTS, young children discover the magic of these armour-clad animals in Term 1 Lesson 2: Pangolin, learning that love isn’t just something we feel—it’s something we show through care and protection. When we teach children to love the wild, they grow into its fiercest protectors—because love, real and lasting, begins with understanding. Let’s love fiercely, protect nature, and grow Wild Hearts. #WorldPangolinDay #WILDHEARTS #MadeBetterTogether #LoveTheWild #ProtectPangolins #ConservationThroughEducation #Tenthousestructures #EnvironmentalEducation #FreeResourcesForTeachers #ECD #Education #Philanthropy #CommunityImpact #Collaboration #ConservationEducation #SustainabilityMatters #NatureConservation #YouthForNature #EcoEducation #SaveOurPlanet #InspiringChange #EnvironmentalAwareness #ProtectWildlife #FutureConservationists #EarlyChildhoodEducation #EquityInEducation #TeacherTraining

International Day of Wetlands Wetlands are magical places full of life! 🌿🐸 This International Day of Wetlands, our WILD HEARTS partners explored why wetlands are important and how we can protect them. Through hands-on learning, preschoolers discovered the creatures that call wetlands home and sorted objects that should and shouldn’t be in these special spaces. From plastic waste to old tires, children learned about the dangers of pollution and how to care for our environment. ♻️💚 The lesson ended with laughter, colour, and creativity as little hands mixed blue and yellow to paint their own green frogs! 🎨✨ The joy of discovery is the first step in raising young conservationists. 🌍🐸 Let’s keep our wetlands clean and thriving—for frogs, for us, for the future! 🌊💙 #WetlandsDay #Frogs #MadeBetterTogether #Tenthousestructures #WILDHEARTS #EnvironmentalEducation #FreeResourcesForTeachers #ECD #Education #Philanthropy #CommunityImpact #Collaboration #ConservationEducation #SustainabilityMatters #NatureConservation #YouthForNature #EcoEducation #SaveOurPlanet #InspiringChange #EnvironmentalAwareness #ProtectWildlife #FutureConservationists #EarlyChildhoodEducation #EquityInEducation #TeacherTraining
