Broken Promises Hurt Learners - Pay Stipends on Time! At MICT SETA, we are committed to supporting learners as they gain the skills and experience needed to thrive in their careers. However, stipend payments remain a cornerstone of this commitment—and delays or non-payment negatively impact learners’ development and well-being. We urge our stakeholders to uphold their Service Level Agreement obligations by ensuring stipend payments are made on time and learners are placed as agreed. Non-compliance not only breaches contracts but also undermines the values we stand for: ethical, committed, and meritocracy. We appreciate your partnership and the vital role you play in empowering learners. Let’s honour these commitments to continue building a strong and skilled South African workforce—failure to comply could lead to consequences that none of us wish to face. #ShapingSkills #PioneeringIndustries #EmpoweringFutures #Accountability #SkillsDevelopment

The MICT SETA urges all prospective students to remain vigilant and cautious of bogus colleges offering unrecognised certificates and qualifications. We encourage students to verify the authenticity of institutions and the programmes/qualifications which they offer by ensuring that they are registered and accredited with the following bodies: • The Department of Higher Education and Training. • South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) • The Council on Higher Education (CHE) and/or the Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) • The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). • Umalusi and The Department of Basic Education (DBE)
