Thanks Mary for attending the Conscious Company awards on behalf of MIP this evening. Unfortunately, I could not be there to collect the winning award due to the presentations MIP were doing at the conferences in Prague and Boston! Thanks to the team at Conscious Companies including one mega special lady, Brenda Kali and also, Mara Glennie the amazing leader of the GBV Tears Foundation who has let MIP spend our Socio Economic investment with them so wisely and really making a difference on the ground. We really appreciate this award, especially when one of the primary members of your judging panel is the very special Judge, Mervyn King, an icon in our business regulatory environment. Let’s hope we can get more South African companies pushing for Consciousness in our South African society. I have a feeling that the positive sentiment being portrayed by our leaders in the new Government of National Unity is just the start for all of us South Africans, pushing for consciousness and a new, positive and inclusive way forward.
