I had many on the job experiences , like someone smuggling a jeans in a unsliced loaf of bread, hiding perfume In a container filled with chicken curry, (It was a Boss Curry lol )- to emptying a few tubes of toothpaste on their body parts to later decant into containers and resell at ridiculously low prices. I've been there.. Experienced it first hand . My view is to never allow the team that is working in the stores to do stocktakes, even if you use sister stores . To control inventory accurately hire External professionals like us. But that's just my view.... Good Afternoon LinkedIn family I don’t usually post on a Sunday, but this has been on my mind after working nearly 24 hours a day, six days a week. Why do we let inexperienced individuals mislead us? How do we take advice from business coaches with no real business-building experience or proof of sustainable success? South African Business legends like the late Raymond Ackerman, Whitey Basson, Mr Rupert and the humble and legendary Discovery founder Adrian Gore has earned the right to teach. They’ve built and grown businesses through real challenges. With all humility, I ask: How can I take advice from someone who’s never stood in my shoes or managed financial growth firsthand? This isn’t about me—it’s about many here on LinkedIn trusting unqualified sources. Recently, I spoke with a so-called "growth guru" who couldn’t answer my questions because they weren’t part of his script. 👉 Don’t spend your money on consultants without real experience. ***********ALERT******** This morning I was driving on the N3 Highway in Jhb , I noticed a Charcoal / Grey VW driving next to me then behind me and each time they came close they would gaze into the car. Eventually they flashed a piece of cloth with the SAPS logo on it and showed me to pull over I immediately knew they were criminals BUT I obliged and pulled over. As all the occupants got out of the car and approached my vehicle I kept letting the vehicle roll forward so they had to walk further and further to get to me . Eventually I sped off they got into their car and followed but exited at the very next exit . With the festive period approaching us crooks will try their luck ! Be vigilant and if you don't feel safe proceed to the nearest police station don't pull over. #besafe #love #kindness #peace #safety
