Our client is opposing an urgent application brought by the mother for the minor child to reside with her in Cape Town as the minor child's primary residence. Our client, biological father is currently living with the minor child in Johannesburg and the minor child is going to start school in Johannesburg, Gauteng for the academic year of 2025. Today our law firm represented our client on the Urgent Court roll in the Cape Town High Court today. The matter involved removing a minor child from the Republic of South Africa to another African country. The matter was struck off the roll for lack of urgency.
