  • Can we just take a moment to celebrate Donna!! Becoming a published author is no easy feat, and when writing on a topic as close to the heart as this one, it is an incredibly difficult journey that puts you into increasingly more uncomfortable positions. Donna - well done on taking the leap, climbing the learning ladder up such a steep curve, and bringing this part of yourself into the world for everyone to see, share and experience. You have given us all permission to grieve, to recognise our own feelings, and to give voice to where we are on our own journey with our furry loved ones. All by sharing your own story and experience 💚 To anyone who is interested in purchasing Donna's book and sharing it with clients - visit her social media pages or her website!!

  • Don't you love this quote? When we know better, we will do better. Knowledge allows us to make better choices for ourselves and the animals in our care. So why don't we? Knowledge alone often isn't enough to drive change. We have to want the change first… knowledge without motivation, will only cause us to make excuses, reject the information, or seek out the information that does agree with our current actions. Have you found this to be true for yourself? Have you found this to be true for clients you work with? So many of our clients come to us because they are already ready for change - they just need the information to help them do it. When clients come to you who are not ready for change, will you continue to walk with them? Will you adjust the information you share with them, so that you keep your clients happy? Or will you watch as they leave you for someone else who will?

  • The Secret that most Successful Vet Rehab Therapists know about Client Loyalty Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms play an essential role in our communication with clients, but these platforms change their policies and algorithms almost weekly. With them, we can never be 100% sure that our promotions, news and achievements are reaching the people we want to reach. With email newsletters, we control the mailing list and never have to wonder if our message has been received. Most people read their emails daily and research shows 85% actually enjoy receiving newsletters from businesses to which they feel loyal Read more here https://lnkd.in/eWivKczx

  • Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with, or resembling that associated with, actual or potential tissue damage. Pain is always a personal experience that is influenced to varying degrees by biological, psychological and social factors. This makes the identification of the cause of pain in horses complex! Trust your horse, trust the information and feedback that they are giving you, even if finding the cause proves more difficult than you anticipated.

Many treatments require hands on skills Thank you to Kirk Peck for sharing this reality check with our Onlinepethealth members in this months webinar.

  • When the hooves hit the ground, everything changes! When the feet hit the stirrups, everything changes! If you don't have proper mechanics in the hooves of the horse and the feet of the rider, there will be a chain reaction into the biomechanics of every joint in their bodies as they move together to perform. This month, Kirk Peck joins us in the Onlinepethealth Equine Membership to lecture on "Biomechanical Faults Impacting Equestrian Athletes & Equine Sport Performance". He starts with the feet and the impact they can have on the entire chain of horse and rider. Watch this webinar now as an Onlinepethealth member.
