Strategic Leader in Online Marketplace Development | ParkUpp

It was truly inspiring to network with great minds at the South African Council of Shopping Centres The innovation and collaboration in our industry are remarkable. At ParkUpp we add value to landlords by turning unused parking spaces into revenue generating assets. We connect these spaces with corporates and individuals in need of monthly to long-term parking solutions. I'm looking forward to connecting with landlords, please reach out if you have unused spaces to list on our platform or need help finding parking for your tenants. Companies needing offsite overflow parking for their teams, I'm here to also assist. Feel free to contact me at 071 402 1338/kwanele@parkupp.co.za. Together, we can create value and optimize space! 🚀 #Networking #Innovation #ParkUpp #PropertyManagement #ParkingSolutions #RealEstate

Spare a thought for South Africa's motor vehicle insurers. Claims frequency brought about by vehicle theft, accidents and weather-related damage has increased significantly over the past twelve months.  Insisting on or at least incentivising off-street parking for policyholders who regularly park in specific locations offers significant benefits for both policy holders and short-term insurers. Vehicles parked off-street are less likely to be targeted by theft or vandalism compared to those parked on the street. Off-street parking can reduce the risk of accidents including sideswipes or collisions with moving traffic. Parking a vehicle under cover reduces the risk of hail and other weather-related damage which has become an increasing phenomenon. Off-street parking results in fewer accidents, reduced weather-related claims and fewer incidents of vandalism/theft. This leads to fewer claims for the insurer and improved profitability. Applying a portion of the increased margin to policy holders who agree to park off-street in the form of lower premiums, will make policies more attractive and competitive. Offering financial incentives such as premium discounts or rebates to policy holders who comply with off-street parking requirements will go a long way to encourage the off-street parking culture. Moreover, promoting off-street parking aligns with broader safety and urban planning initiatives, positioning the insurer as a responsible and proactive contributor within the community. 👉 ParkUpp is an online provider of monthly off-street parking solutions across South Africa’s key metropoles. 👉 Searching, contracting and paying for a monthly parking bay near you is as simple as click, book, park.

Many companies are seeing the transition back to the in-office Monday-Friday workweek, and this brings with it an interesting problem: Parking limitations!   Companies are understandably hesitant to enter into additional long-term lease commitments over non-core facilities in order to offer permanent, dedicated parking options at scale for their employees.   ParkUpp empowers staff to independently choose from a range of monthly parking options and to make their own arrangements.   It’s a simple online click, book and park achieved anywhere, at any time through our website.   If parking is part of the package, employees facilitating their own parking commitments can simply claim reimbursements from their employer.    Visit www.parkupp.co.za or call our business development managers Kwanele Tshabalala 071 402 1338 and Umar Obaray 071 280 2308 to learn more about ParkUpp’s services and offerings.   Looking for parking in a specific location? Our team is also readily available to source bulk bays on your behalf, should that be something you’re interested in.
