RISE Mzansi
Civic and Social Organizations
A political movement and alternative that will contest in the 2024 elections, activating the People’s power to act.
About us
The mission of the RISE Mzansi is to serve, and mobilise the People’s power to shape the South Africa we deserve. We, the People, shall govern, to achieve a safe, equal, prosperous and united South African, in one generation. We believe that 2024 is our 1994, and that ordinary people can come together, to achieve the extraordinary. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. And so we must RISE. Our core values are equality, integrity, solidarity, justice and freedom. Over the past 24 months, we have travelled the length and breadth of Mzansi, connecting with communities, traditional leaders, business, civic organisations, religious groups and many others to hear their challenges, ideas, and aspirations. On the 19th of April 2023, we announce ourselves to the world, as the next phase in this 30 years journey of changing the course of our path as a nation. This is an inflection point, a moment in history. Our announcement with share our vision for South Africa, what differentiates us, the turnaround plan, policy priorities, our political programme and how we seek to execute. We hope to rally all South Africans behind this new, modern, and viable alternative. The cost of doing nothing is too high. And we have run out of time. We must take advantage of the opportunity, within the lifetime of the opportunity, to avert complete catastrophe and a failed state. So please join us on this mission or realising the South Africa promised in our Constitution. The better the people, the better the politics. We are indeed the rising tide that will lift all ships out of poverty, indignity, chaos and suffering. RISE MZANSI RISE 🚀🇿🇦
