Welcome to the team! We are excited to announce that Veeran Rabikissoon has been appointed in a new role as Head of Supply Chain – Logistics and Planning at Safal Steel. Veeran has been an invaluable member of the Safal Group for the past 17 years, previously serving as the National Supply Chain Manager at Safintra SA before joining Safal Steel. Whilst being with the Group, he has been instrumental in the setting up of the Central Warehouse Facility in PMB and Westmead for Safintra SA, as well as the setup of the Safintra SA Centralised Production Facility in Cato Ridge. In addition to his long standing history with the Safal Group, he also has 13 years prior experience as Procurement Manager at the Steinhoff Group. His extensive experience, combined with his academic qualifications, including a BCom Supply Chain Management (Cum Laude) degree, BCom Honors degree, Management Development Programme, as well as his MBA which will be completed in 2024, make him the ideal candidate for this position. Veeran comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we are confident that his leadership will drive efficiency & innovation within the business.
