📢 Sener, present at the meeting of the Spanish Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility with Spanish companies in London 🇬🇧 Representing Sener, Cristina Ginés, Business Development Director Europe, was honoured to share an encounter with Óscar Puente, together with other companies from the #railway 🚅 and airport management 🛫 industries that are leading projects for the development of the country's mobility #infrastructures 🛤. This meeting comes as part of the Minister's official visit to the UK to meet with his British counterpart, Heidi Alexander, to whom she conveyed the interest of Spanish companies to continue participating in the expansion plans of the high-speed #rail in the country, in which Sener has been involved for over a decade in projects such as HS2, as well as others in the transport and water infrastructure sectors. Special thanks to the Minister and Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad Sostenible for all initiatives supporting the internationalisation of Spanish companies and the development of both current and future projects, and to Embajada de España en Londres for organising and hosting the meeting. #SenerMobility

Our subsidiary, Quark Unlimited Engineering, the leading #datacenter design and engineering firm in Southern Europe, reinforces its international expansion plan by opening a new subsidiary in Portugal! 🎯 Currently, Quark leads the national data centre engineering market and since 2012 has been developing emblematic projects in Portugal, such as Altice's Covilhã data centre, one of the largest in the country, to as well as other projects for clients such as Banco de Portugal or Sibs, among others. 💡 Last year, Quark won 50% more contracts than in the previous year and increased its workforce by 40 people to more than 100. The growth of the business and the incorporation into the Sener group is facilitating its expansion at international and national level. In the latter sense, Quark has recently opened an office in Germany and, in Spain, an office in Barcelona and a data centre design hub at Sener's headquarters in Bilbao. 🌊 We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the second integrated loop analysis for the HiveLab project, in collaboration with Mingyang Smart Energy 🌊⁣   This project, awarded to Sener by Hive Wind Energy S.L., showcases our capabilities in performing comprehensive coupled analysis for wind turbine generators (WTG) and floating platforms.⁣   🔍 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: ◾WTG: MySE230-11MW⁣ ◾Platform: HiveWind semisubmersible steel platform – prototype. Platform draft: 8 m. Platform dimensions: triangular 92 * 82 m. Flat panels. ◾Location: PLEMCAT facilities, Mediterranean Sea, Gulf of Roses (Spain).   Throughout 2024, our engineering team analyzed the integrated unit, comprising the #HiveWind platform, MYSE turbine, and SKS, to evaluate its dynamic behavior and perform the structural design. Both Sener and Ming Yang teams developed their respective aero-hydro-servo-elastic coupled models, achieving an excellent fit between them.⁣   During the final loop, a total of 21,000 cases were considered, ensuring all loads and motions met the turbine’s requirements. The results from these models have been essential in designing WTG components, blades, tower, semisubmersible platform, SKS, and dynamic cable.⁣   💡 W𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿? Reducing the cost and timeline of integrated load analysis services is crucial for the successful deployment of floating offshore wind projects.
