Know Your Umalusi | One of our responsibilities is to ensure the development of new qualifications and their underpinning curricula. Did You Know? The first Marine Sciences Grade 12 examination was written in November 2021. This happened after Umalusi subjected the curriculum to rigorous quality assurance processes. This subject is now included in the suite of subjects for the National Senior Certificate (NSC) qualification. Offering Marine Sciences as a subject in the NSC qualification will go a long way in contributing to the South African government’s intention to grow the Ocean Economy. #UmalusiCertificates #MakoyaCertificate #UmalusiServices
