At Voermol Feeds #quality and safety drive our operations. We care for our #employees, #customers, and the #animals we feed. As part of our biosecurity measures, we commissioned our new #spraybay unit in October that disinfects all vehicles entering the Voermol site. The design of the spray bay unit allows the entire vehicle to be disinfected, from horse to trailer. This fully automated system, which has replaced our manual system, uses an eco-friendly chemical to ensure the runoff does not cause harm to the environment. We are very proud of this development as it ensures good biosecurity measures and thus safe products for our customers.

In today’s competitive #agricultural landscape and with increased input costs, #sheepfarmers continually seek ways to enhance their operations’ productivity and efficiency. Optimised, efficient #livestock production not only ensures better returns on investment but also promotes sustainable practices that benefit the #environment and #animalwelfare. The only way to overcome this is to improve on outputs, specifically animal performance and productivity.
