#BeyondFestiveSeason: Limpopo Road Safety Strategy Reveals Current Status of Road Safety in Limpopo Province According to the incident data collated by the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety, there has been a decrease in road incidents between 2018 and 2023 in Limpopo. However, the severity of these incidents has worsened, leading to an increased number of fatalities. As a result, the Limpopo Road Safety Programme, in collaboration with the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety, has co-designed a revised Limpopo Road Safety Strategy (LRSS), which is scheduled to be launched tomorrow. The strategy will outline why a concerted effort is required for 2025 and beyond.
