Husk Power, one of our private sector partners, doubled its mini-grid fleet in Africa and Asia in just 12 months, surpassing 400 mini-grids! They electrified 200 new communities in 2024, and now serve 1.5 million people and over 30,000 small businesses. What an achievement - congratulations Manoj Sinha, William Brent, and team! Here's a little more info: ◾ Since closing a $103 million Series D at the end of 2023, Husk electrified 200 new communities in rural Africa and Asia, doubling its fleet in under 12 months; ◾ Husk now owns and operates the world’s largest portfolio of private sector mini-grids and has achieved the industry’s fastest rate of deployment; ◾ This milestone cements Husk’s position as the clear industry leader.
