  • Meet our esteemed mentor and Co-Founder, Grace Kabwe. Grace has played a leading role in the success of our very first Actuarial Mentorship program in Zambia. Her anchored role has also pushed the growth of Actuarial Students Zambia and we are more than grateful to have her as a mentor and Co-Founder. Her advice to young Zambian actuaries is: ”Have a mindset of learning, problem-solving, understanding, and curiosity. It’s not just about getting the right answer or a good grade, but more so about learning how to apply your knowledge in a practical way that facilitates problem-solving.” Grace graduated from University of Waterloo , where she began her mentorship journey with actuarial students. She remains passionate about this and especially about seeing Zambian youth succeed in the actuarial profession, and seeing the Zambian actuarial talent grow and develop to a competitive international standard. #actuarialstudentszambia #actuarialscience #mentorship #womeninstem
