The EFZ yesterday hosted the High Level Mission of the Commonwealth led by Assistant Secretary-General, Prof. Luis Franceschi. The Commonwealth delegation was in the company of Senior Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. The engagement meeting is part of a broad based consultative exercise that the Commonwealth is conducting, following Zimbabwe’s request for readmission into the Commonwealth. The church remains a very critical stakeholder in the assessment. Through the Zimbabwe We Want Document (2006), the church has made calls for reinstatement to and re-engagement with the International community because we believe that such efforts are to the benefit of our country and its people. The current EFZ President Bishop N. Muparutsa and members of the National Advisory Council, Dr. Goodwill Shana, Professor Mloyi, and other board members were present during the meeting. #EFZat60 #PrayEngageBuild
