Building smallholder farmers' climate resilience starts with raising farmers' awareness on the importance of insurance in risk mitigation. Agric index insurance is one key tool, which also aligns with the National Financial Inclusion Strategy, National Development Strategy 1, Vision 2030 and SDGs.

Exciting News! 🌍 Congratulations to our Commissioner, Dr Grace Muradzikwa, on her election to represent Sub-Saharan Africa on the Executive Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS)! 🎉 This prestigious role is a testament to Dr Muradzikwa’s commitment and leadership in advancing Sub-Saharan Africa’s insurance sector forward. Her experience, achievements, and dedication will undoubtedly bring a valuable perspective to the global stage, benefiting the entire region’s insurance landscape. We also extend our congratulations to Mr Kenneth Matomola, Chief Executive Officer of the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority, on his election as the other Sub-Saharan Africa representative on the IAIS Executive Committee.
