Drill Music in Zion is the eighth studio album by Lupe Fiasco, released on June 24, 2022. Entirely produced by Soundtrakk, the album was announced in a tweet by Lupe on August 9, 2021, saying that he would try to complete a 10-track album in a matter of 24 hours.
However, six days later on August 15, it was confirmed that it ended up taking 72 hours to complete instead.
On May 18, 2022, Lupe finally announced the album’s official release date for June 24 and unveiled the album’s artwork via Twitter and Instagram. Similar to his fifth album Tetsuo & Youth, the artwork was designed by Lupe himself.
