Nick Mason’s Fictitious Sports

Though under his name, Mason was not the writer of either music or lyrics for his first solo album. All music and lyrics were composed by avant-garde jazz musician Carla Bley. Mason did however play on the album, and was the co-producer along with Bley. The Ficticious Sports moniker is given to Bley and the various musicians who play on the album.
