Lost Tapes is a new compilation album from Tory Lanez, serving as his second major release while serving his ten year prison sentence, following up November 2023’s deluxe version to Alone at Prom.
Starting in the beginning of July up until August 9, Tory surprised release 8 unreleased singles, which some date back to 2015 up to 2020, to which they would all end up being launched a new Instagram page, created by Tory’s team, teasing a new project being on the way. It was also revealed that Tory had signed a new deal with 10K Projects.
On July 24, 2024, Tory took to Instagram announcing that a new project would be released on July 26, as well as confirming that he and his engineer figured out a way to record music while in prison, hence the existence of the album.
