Good music arguably comes from a place that is insightful, meaningful and modern. This is where the living weirdo known as Devvon Terrell lives. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, the singer has his own urban style and sound that is a testament to his generation.
Devvon Terrell took the internet by storm, showcasing his talent on various remixes and cover videos on YouTube that have collectively generated over 100,000,000 views alone. On Christmas Day 2015 he dropped the album Coast 2 Coast with Futuristic that debuted at #12 on Hip-Hop Billboard charts. This led to him supporting Futuristic on the Mike Stud “Back 2 You” Tour.
He wears a variety of hats to translate his music to his audience. Devvon shoots all his own videos, along with mixing and mastering the music. This jack of all trades mentality has earned him placements with DiGiorno Pizza with Redfoo & Von Miller, Pepsi/MTV with Lukas Graham, and countless other mediums. He recently released an EP titled The Renaissance, and earned the #1 spot on the iTunes R&B album charts. With all of his endeavors on the rise, Devvon Terrell will surely make the transformation from local talent, to mainstream superstar.
In March of 2017, Forbes Magazine published an article about Devvon and him being a successful independent artist. Devvon followed that up by signing a publishing deal with ABKCO in conjunction with his manager Ryan Matthews. You can read the press release on Music Business Worldwide. He recently performed some original music and remixes on New York’s Z100, for their segment “Live from the Dunkin Donuts Ice Coffee Lounge.” 2017 is shaping up to be Devvon’s breakout year with new singles coming in May and an album slated for late fall.
