Falling In Reverse

About Falling In Reverse

Falling In Reverse is an American post-hardcore band based in Las Vegas, Nevada and formed in 2008, signed to Epitaph Records. The band’s name is a reference to drugs, and the consequences of using them:

I just wanted a positive name … I want to influence the nation to quit bad habits like that instead of influencing them to do it because they think that it’s the cool thing.

Vocalist Ronnie Radke began writing music while serving a 2 ½ year prison sentence, reflecting on his past mistakes, pondering his future goals, and unloading his feelings about being kicked out of his previous band Escape The Fate. His new group began recording its debut album after his release. The Drug In Me Is You arrived on July 26, 2011, and peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, selling 18,000 copies in its first week.

The band’s second studio album, Fashionably Late, was released on June 18, 2013, which peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard 200. Just like You followed on February 24, 2015, Coming Home on April 7, 2017. Radke later told a radio station that Coming Home “tanked”.

A year after releasing the Drugs EP on April 8, 2019, Radke shared on Instagram that rhythm guitarist and founding member Derek Jones had passed away. The band made news in 2022 when they canceled performing at an Illinois rock station’s concert because their laptops were stolen, ending up in a war of words with former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach and satellite radio host Eddie Trunk over relying on pre-recorded backing tracks.

Another EP Neon Zombie was expected in 2023, preceded by the singles “ZOMBIFIED”, “Voices In My Head” and “Watch The World Burn”, Radke later shared he preferred releasing songs individually as singles instead:

Your creativity starts spreading out over 10 songs. If you put it all into one song, it’s really good. And then you put all your creativity into this music video. And it worked. Slowly.
