Fredo Santana, who was born Derrick Coleman on July 4, 1990, died on January 19, 2018, at the age of 27 after a seizure caused by epilepsy. Fredo and his younger cousin Chief Keef were co-CEOs of Glory Boyz Entertainment.
He then later branched out and formed his own record label Savage Squad Records.
He was easily recognizable by his distinct facial tattoos — the cross on his forehead and two tear drops.
His debut album Trappin' Ain’t Dead was released on November 20, 2013 via Savage Squad Records. It debuted on #34 in Soundscan’s top 200 Rap Albums the week of its release and peaked at #6 on iTunes Rap & Hip-Hop charts, also was #31 on all Albums charts during the day of its release.
