Deontay Wilder is considering asking Wladimir Klitschko for advice on how to beat Tyson Fury ahead of their December 1 face-off in Los Angeles.
The fighters go head-to-head for the WBC heavyweight belt in little under a month, with Wilder sparring with a host of different boxers as he prepares to take on the awkward Fury, who will be the tallest person he has fought in the ring.
Klitschko, who Wilder sparred with earlier in his career, knows all about Fury after losing to the Brit in 2015, and the Bronze Bomber could pick his brain to find out where he went wrong.
‘I personally didn’t reach out to him, I don’t even know if my team have either. But that’s a great idea to do,’ said Wilder when asked if he has spoken to Klitschko about Fury.
‘I hadn’t even thought about that one, we’ve just been going along with what we know and what we’ve been doing has been amazing.

‘We’ve had a lot of sparring partners come in these weeks of training and there’s been great looks, but that’s maybe something that we’ll probably reach out and do.
‘Ask him how he was feeling, what he was thinking, what were the things that caused him not throw so many punches as we know he could do.
‘Because I feel that if Klitschko had have thrown punches like we know he could do, it would have been a different result in the fight.’
Wilder, who has a 40-0 unbeaten record, was named as Anthony Joshua’s ‘number one choice’ for his next opponent, on April 13 at Wembley next year – if he can overcome Fury first.
